Dread, that is what I am feeling today.
I woke up this morning and looked at the calendar. Two more weeks until school starts. The thought of it makes me tired.
When school starts I will maintain my two jobs, continue to write here, design for the Kaimin (the school newspaper), work on the Montana Journalism Review and take a full load of classes.
I am not looking forward to it. My stomach is queasy at the thought.
I don’t know why I freak myself out about it. I know I will be fine. I’ll manage my time and get organized and I’ll be ok. I’ll probably call my mom and my friend Kristin and cry to them for the first two weeks. They’ll assure me that I am smart and strong and I will get through.
I know the whole routine, so why I am getting so nervous?
If it was easy, why would you do it?
You know I’m always willing to listen to you complain, that’s what I’m here for!

Believe me Jaime being a single mom was one the hardest times I ever had. Than I look back and say if it wasn’t for the struggles I wouldnt havent got to where I am today. Now at almost 21 and 17 my kids turned out pretty darm good.
Its not somthing anyone I think plans but just like you school, teo jobs and all else ya do you just make it work cuz right now there really isnt another wat trust me it gets better. You will someday realize all the struggles and school and all were really worth it.

I totally understand what you are feeling. Just think it will all be over sooner than you think and then you look back and wonder where the time went.I hope tha this semester goes well and remember that you are doing this for yourself and it will all pay off. Love you lots!Mo

I understand what you are feeling, because I feel it too. Now is a perfect time for self-doubt to creep in– Am I over my head? Can I do this? Man, I’m going to be so stressed out this semester! Try not to let it get to you so much. (Of course it is easier said then done) Did you ever read the book Printer gave us?? It is really good and may address what you are feeling. If you did read it, read it again!! It really changed my thinking. Looking forward to seeing you again and school and being your espanol buddy!!

Jaime———–4 days and counting!! I completely understand what you are whining about!! I get that dreadful, anxiety, sick stomach feeling too. I wonder if I will be able to keep up with everything I need to do each day?, will I pass my 5 classes (17 credits)?, do I have enough money for gas each week? Will I need to get 2 backpacks this semester? WHEN WILL I SLEEP???
