Especially when you see someone in trouble and they won't listen to you. But I think that the whole idea of being a good freind is being there when it gets hard. It takes some people longer to figure stuff out, but the good friend will stay there and listen to the sad sad story and see the tears flow. A good freind will sit through all the crap. A great friend, though, will say they are tired of it and tell their sad sad friend that its time to grow up and move on and if she is willing to do that then a great freind will be there for the shit that follows. We all lose our patience, but the tricky part is not losing our compassion. If I was you, I'd tell her straight out and tell her you will be there if she wants to make the big move, if she doens't thats fine. Just pray that she gets the courgae eventually.
